The newly opened Assistant Local Audit Office (ALAO) Tirupati (AP) and extended accommodation at DAD Transit Facility at Visakhapatnam were inaugurated by Shri Sanjiv Mittal, CGDA on 27 May 2020. The inauguration was done through virtual mode from HQrs Office at Delhi in the presence of Dr. M Anjaneyulu Addl.CGDA, Shri Praveen Kumar Sr.Jt.CGDA, Shri K Venkata Rao, CDA Secunderabad, Shri K Balakrishna IFA (Navy) ENC and other IDAS officers in the offices of the CGDA, DAD offices at Vizag and CDA, Secunderabad.

Shri Sanjiv Mittal, CGDA during his inaugural address said that the opening of Assistant Local Audit Office at Tirupati would go in a long way to enhance the accounting and audit requirements of various NCC units and ECHS Polyclinics spread across the five districts of Southern part of Andhra Pradesh in keeping with ´ ease of doing business ´ theme of Govt. of India. Similarly, the long pending demand of the personnel of Defence Accounts Department has been fulfilled with the inauguration of enhanced Transit Facilities at Visakhapatnam. The addition of 2 suites to the existing Transit Facility for the visiting officers / staff to the city of Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh would provide a fillip to the long felt need of more DAD transit accommodation at Vizag as it is visited by a large number of officers / staff of DAD.
