As an initiative taken by the Hon´ble Prime Minister to attain the goals of the Swachh Bharat Mission, "Swachhta Pakhwada" was observed by the Defence Accounts Department from 1st December to 15th December, 2020. All the offices of the Defence Accounts Department spread throughout the country organized different activities with particular focus on creating awareness on cleanliness with active participation of officials of the Department. The office of Controller General of Defence Accounts also observed "Swachhta Pakhwada" from 1st December to 15th December, 2020 by organizing different cleanliness awareness activities with active participation of officials of the office. The Controller General of Defence Accounts, Sh. Sanjiv Mittal also participated in the activities viz. weeding out grasses and tree plantation in the office premises.
